Differentiation Activity
Take all face cards out of a deck of cards. Students could also use 3 dice as well.
Place the number lines in a sheet protector. Player 1 draws 3 cards and creates a number as close to 500 as they can. They will estimate where the number will go on the number line and write in their number. Player 2 will do the same. The player closest to 500 receives a point. The first player to 5 wins.
Game Varieties
The activity can be changed to different numbers along the number line.
Student can also round their numbers to the nearest 10 before placing on the number line as well.
