Adding 3-Digit and 2-Digit Numbers

Differentiation Activity

Students will draw a card from each of the two piles at the same time.  They will work on mentally adding them together, and then write down their answer.  If needed, they can use base-ten blocks.  When they are both finished, they will compare answers.  The student with the greatest number earns a point.  The students with the most points when time runs out or after 10 rounds is the winner.
