Extra Help - Students work in pairs. On their turn, students pull one of each card and model the addition problem using counters on and off the ten frame. (Could also use double ten frames.) Once the sum is determined, students cover the sum on the game board. Students keep playing until they have placed all their counters.
Extra Practice - Students use the same cards as above, but without the scaffold of the 10 Frame.
